The ceremony was presided over by\u00a0<strong>Hon\u2019ble Chancellor Dr Vibha Dhawan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The convocation brought together graduating students, faculty members and distinguished guests to commemorate years of academic commitment and research excellence. The ceremony was also\u00a0<strong>broadcasted live<\/strong>, enabling families and well-wishers to witness the milestone remotely. The event reflected the University\u2019s sustained focus on\u00a0<strong>sustainability education and research<\/strong>, and its role in addressing\u00a0<strong>complex environmental and development challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While awarding honorary doctorates to\u00a0<strong>Dr Pema Gyamtsho<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ms Supriya Sahu<\/strong>, Hon\u2019ble Chancellor\u00a0<strong>Dr Vibha Dhawan<\/strong>\u00a0spoke about the evolving role of sustainability education within a larger research ecosystem and emphasised the importance of aligning academic inquiry with real-world environmental and development priorities. Medals were presented in recognition of outstanding academic performances.<\/p>\n<p>For the students, the ceremony marked not only the completion of an academic milestone but also the beginning of professional pathways dedicated to\u00a0<strong>environmental stewardship<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>climate resilience<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>responsible development<\/strong>.
