The experience begins with users entering their friend\u2019s Airtel Prepaid number, selecting a Prepaid recharge, and completing the transaction. They can then choose from a range of digital Friendship Bands designed for different kinds of friendships, including\u00a0\u201cGym Buddy,\u201d \u201cMeme Dealer,\u201d \u201cGedi Partner,\u201d \u201cFoodie Friend,\u201d \u201cGossip Spiller,\u201d and \u201cFree Therapist.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once selected, the Friendship Band can be shared instantly via\u00a0WhatsApp or SMS<\/strong>, accompanied by a Friendship Day greeting. The experience can also include the sender\u2019s name when shared via SMS, making the message more personal. Recipients are then given the option to continue the chain by gifting a Friendship Band to someone else through the campaign page.<\/p>\n

With this initiative, Airtel is reimagining the traditional exchange of Friendship Bands for today\u2019s digital world.
